CMPA continues to agitiate for relevant parts of the SMEC facilty in Cooma to be acquired by Council and used for comunity purposes, e.g. a museum.

Tourism promotion continues to be centred around the short and unreliable ski season, at the expense of other worthwhile attractions. CMPA is keen to encourage expansion or broadening of the budget to embrace the whole region for the whole of the year.
